About NCA
Newington Community Association was incorporated in January 1972 to "promote the interests of the owners of properties" in the Newington family of communities. The properties involved are 524 townhouses and 85 single family homes located in Springfield, Virginia, County of Fairfax. All of these properties are cradled in the heavily-wooded crescent that lies due east of scenic Pohick Creek, due west of Rolling Road, and due north of the intersection of Rolling Road, Pohick Road, and Alban Road.

Newington Community has two entrances off Rolling Road: the Delong Drive entrance and the Northumberland Road entrance. The subset of Newington Community known as Newington Station spans both the Delong and the Northumberland entrances and is composed of traditional townhouses. The subset of Newington Community known as Newington Glen can be reached through the Delong entrance and is composed of contemporary townhouses. The subset of Newington Community known as Newington Place can be reached through Northumberland Road entrance and is composed of traditional townhouses. Finally, the subset of Newington Community known as Woodmere can be reached through the Northumberland entrance and is composed of single family homes.
